Behind every great meal at Cutlery Works, there’s a deeper mission: A belief that food can change lives. That’s where Blend Culinary Foundation (BCF) comes in: the not-for-profit arm of Blend Family and the force behind our purpose-led work in Sheffield.
As a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), BCF transforms intention into impact. We empower independent culinary talent, support food access for all, and build inclusive, community-driven kitchens that celebrate diversity and connection.
Our mission is clear: to use food as a positive social force. From tackling food poverty and promoting food education to hosting cultural dining experiences, every initiative is rooted in making a difference-plate by plate.
Supporting Our Community
Whether it’s hands-on cooking sessions with local groups, corporate volunteer days, or community events that bring people around the table, our initiatives support food banks and deepen connections in the places we call home.
While there are no current plans for a cookery school at Cutlery works, our commitment to Blend Culinary Foundation remains strong-through paid partnerships, meaningful events, and outreach that truly matters.
